Step 1 - Remove the plastic wrapping. Do not remove the cardboard framing.

The BNX TruFilters are synthetic, electrostatically-charged air filter media that outperforms standard fiberglass filters. The pleated technology allows for industry leading superior low air flow resistance while maintaining the highest grade level of filtration.

This depends on the type of filter you use. With the BNX TruFilter you only need to change your filter once every 3 months. However, certain aerosol conditions such as smoke, pes, debris, construction may reduce the life of your filter.

MERV stands for Minimum Efficiency Reporting Values which reports a filter's ability to capture microscopic particles ranging from 0.3 and 10 microns (µm). The higher the MERV level, the more efficient it is at filtering microscopic particles.
